The biologically active compounds present in plants are called phytochemicals. Phytochemical analysis unlocks the secrets within these plants, revealing the identity of these valuable molecules. This review helps in study of exciting world of plant chemistry, utilizing diverse techniques to unveil the phytochemicals of various medicinal species. Analysing the profile of these phytochemicals in medicinal plants is crucial for understanding their potential therapeutic effects, identifying novel drug leads, and ensuring product quality control. The goal of phytochemical analysis is to evaluate the medicinal potential of plant by various methods like extraction, chromatographic techniques, spectroscopic methods for identifying and isolating their phytoconstituents. Extraction techniques are the main one. Digestion, maceration, and percolation are the examples of extraction techniques. Similarly phytochemical screening of Alkaloids, Flavonoids etc. also included in this study. Spectroscopic methods play a pivotal role in this process, offering a powerful tool to qualitatively identify and quantitatively analyse these fascinating molecules. Phytochemical study is very useful for us because of many applications are occurred especially in disease prevention or...

Objectives: Silymarin is an anti-inflammatory agent that is used in the treatment of a variety of inflammatory disorders. The aim of the present study was to prepare and evaluate novel polymeric nanoparticles containing Silymarin. Materials and Methods: A 32 full factorial design was used to study the effect of Eudragit EPO and Pluronic F-68 on the characterization of nanoparticle suspensions. The polymeric nanoparticles were prepared by Nano precipitation technique. The prepared nanoparticles was evaluated by percentage yield, drug polymer compatibility using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) analysis, drug content, entrapment efficiency, zeta potential, particle size, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, in-vitro drug release studies, kinetic modelling, stability studies, and in-vivo animal studies. Results: The DSC study revealed that the drug was involved in complexation with nanoparticles. The average particle size of Silymarin nanoparticles was in the range of 114.4 nm to 136.7 nm. The zeta potential values were attained to ensure good stability of nanosuspensions. In-vitro release of the drug from nanoparticles follows the...

Despite the introduction of new antiepileptic medicines (AEDs) over the past two decades, more than 30% of epilepsy patients still have refractory disease. Combined administration of AEDs or the use of novel AEDs is the most popular therapeutic choice when surgical therapy cannot be provided, even though a tiny number of these resistant individuals may become seizure free when a new AED is added. Lacosamide (LCM), which has novel modes of action and advantageous safety profiles, is the most recent AED to receive approval in Europe and the USA. This article discusses the efficacy and safety of LCM as determined by phase II and III clinical trials, as well as its molecular mechanisms of action and pharmacokinetic characteristics. It is also explored how LCM compares to other AEDs that are currently on the...

Medicine presently used to deal with cough are the various maximum notably used over the counter drug treatments in the international, in spite of a recent evaluation suggesting that there is a bit evidence to comparable drug treatments produce any significant efficiency. Syrup is commonly useful and famous dosage form which is used for the remedy of cough and bloodless. We organized the herbal cough syrup by means of including Jaggery base and decoction of natural capsules together with Pudina, Tulsi, Cinnamon, Jaggery and other natural excipients. The natural cough syrup is formulated by using decoction method. Including the decoction of natural capsules with base of Jaggery is beneficial to the formulation for thick and preserves the system. That turned into beneficial to increase the shelf lifestyles of components of natural syrup. The brought Jaggery sweetener also can help to growth the palatability of some natural drugs. The ultimately increase the herbal cough syrup with the bottom of Jaggery. The purpose of this examine is to develop a herbal...
