Plants serve human as a primary source of food, shelter, and medicine. So, understanding the plants uses in treating diseases is very important for leading a healthier life. Helminthes infection are usually found in community and are well recognized as cause of much acute and chronic illness among the individual as well as cattle’s. For evaluating that we select the Pherithema posthuma a Helminthes is frequently known as earth-worms. For that we evaluated the anthelmintic activity of aqueous and methanolic extracts of leaves of Euphorbia hirta linn. (euphorbiaceae) using different concentration of above solvent extract we evaluated the Time of paralysis (P) and Time of death (D) of the worms. The main active constituent responsible for showing the anthelmintic efficacy in the Euphorbia hirta plant is believed that Quercetin, a flavonoid. This plant contains several bioactive compounds, butquercetin has been widely studied for its broad-spectrum biological activities including anthelmintic activity. Albendazole (Std) was used as standard. Anthelmintic drug and Dis. H2O was used as a control. The result of...

This study investigates the antioxidant properties and chemical composition of Linum usitatissimum L. (flaxseed) extract using High Resolution-Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (HR-LCMS) analysis. The primary objective is to identify the bioactive compounds responsible for the antioxidant activity and evaluate the efficacy of flaxseed extracts prepared with different solvents, including methanol, ethanol, acetone, chloroform, petroleum ether, and ethyl acetate. Methodologically, the study employs various antioxidant assays such as DPPH, ABTS, FRAP, and total Antioxidant Activity (TAA), in conjunction with HR-LCMS analysis for comprehensive chemical profiling. Key findings reveal that methanolic and ethanolic extracts exhibit the highest antioxidant activities, with significant amounts of phenolic and flavonoid compounds identified. The HR-LCMS analysis further elucidates the presence of metabolites such as adenosine, abscisic acid glucose ester, and kaempferol 7-O-glucoside, which contribute to the observed bioactivity. The study concludes that flaxseed extracts, particularly those obtained with methanol and ethanol, possess substantial antioxidant potential, underscoring their potential application in nutraceuticals and functional...

The aim of this study is to prepare and formulate an herbal shampoo and evaluate its physiochemical properties for safety and efficacy which contain safe natural ingredients. Shampoo is a hair care product used for the removals of dirt, oils, skin particles, environmental pollutants and other foreign particle which build up in hair. The shampoo is enriched with herbal extract without any synthetic additives. The herbal extract used in formulations are Punica grantum (pomegranate), Curcuma longa (turmeric), Sapindus mukorossi (ritha), Datura metal (datura), Pisidium guajira (guava), Azadinachta indica (neem), Hibiscus rosa-sinensis (shoe black plant), Citrus sinensis (orange), Zingiber officinale (ginger), Allium sativum (garlic), Allium cepa (onion), Cuminum cyminum (jeera). Herbal shampoo was prepared by simple mixing process. The herbal shampoo was tested for physicochemical properties. Some of methods are visual inspection, pH determination, solubility check, cleansing action, determination of percentage solid content, viscosity evaluation, dirt dispersion, foaming ability detergency ability and stability...

Despite its succulent fruit, Cucumis melo L. is a widely grown crop in many parts of the world. Developing consumer-favored cultivars requires an understanding of the genetic foundation of a plant’s qualitative and quantitative features. Cucumis melo L. is a delightful oval-shaped fruit that belongs to a particular cultivar group of muskmelons. It is the most exported and consumed fresh fruit and is consumed widely in many tropical nations. It has incredible nutritional value. It was evaluated how different organic solvents affected the phytochemical recovery from the fruits and seeds of the Cucumis melo L. plant. Its widespread cultivation is attributable to its adaptability to many soil types and climates. Because of its complex chemical makeup and pleasant taste, melons are a great source of biologically beneficial chemicals for humans. Melon contains glucose, fructose, vitamin A, thiamine, D, C, K, and E, as well as a few vitamins from group B. Aqueous or fresh extracts of the edible portion of melon fruit have long been employed as analgesics, purgatives,...

The newest approach in pharmaceutical production linked to quality is called Quality by Design (QbD). To guarantee that premium-grade pharmaceuticals are produced, Pharmaceutical Quality by Design, or QbD, is discussed in this article. A description of Quality by Design is provided along with a list of its constituent parts. Every unit activity has its own set of quality metrics and characteristics. The use of Quality by Design and its associated measures can yield significant benefits for pharmaceutical goods. The foundation of pharmaceutical R&D is high-quality drugs and the procedures used in their production. A product’s quality cannot be easily verified because this paper just summarises the product’s quality profile and the most important components of Quality by Design. Quality by design (QbD) and end-product testing are two ways to compare the quality of various goods. Quality by Design is based on the ICH Guidelines. ICH guidelines apply to the development of medications and the application of quality control methods. The research and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals might profit from Quality...
